Mi Specialized is cost-based, customized support, with engagement structures matched to the type of work. Many services are billed hourly, invoiced monthly with net 30 days. Some services, like grant services, use a fixed monthly fee. Others, like web development, use milestone-based pricing with a portion paid upfront and the remainder upon completion. Whatever the structure, you’ll know the scope and the cost before we begin, so your investment can be planned and stewarded well.

No. Generally speaking and with a few exceptions, Mi Specialized engagements are delivered remotely to nonprofits anywhere in the world.

Most engagements begin within two to three weeks of an initial conversation. Some can begin sooner if a project requires it.

Two things shape every Mi Specialized engagement. First, our approach is built around biblical fundraising principles, drawn from 27+ years of equipping ministries. Second, our engagement model is built for ministry stewardship, with transparent scope, flexible structure, and clear communication throughout. We come to every conversation knowing that ministry budgets are sacred and that the trust you place in us is too.

Mi Specialized is the consulting arm of Mission Increase. The free Mi Core program is and always will be the foundation of what we do, and it remains free for every ministry. Mi Specialized was created to serve ministries that need deeper, more customized support beyond what the free program is designed to offer.

Mi Core is the foundation, and for most ministries it’s exactly the right place to be. Mi Specialized comes alongside when you’re facing something specific that calls for deeper, hands-on expertise, like a capital campaign, a complex grant strategy, an executive transition, or a custom case for support.

If in a local Mission Increase community, your Area Director continues to be your primary relationship with Mission Increase. Mi Specialized works alongside that relationship, not in place of it. In most cases, your AD will be informed and aware of the work so they can continue supporting you over the long term.

Many ministries continue with their AD for ongoing coaching and workshops, and some engage Mi Specialized for the specific challenges that emerge after the foundational work is in place. There’s no expectation that Mi Specialized is automatic after Mi Core. It depends entirely on what your ministry is navigating.

Mi Specialized is separate and cost-based. Mi Core is provided at no cost thanks to generous donors. Mi Specialized engagements are scoped, customized, and tailored to your specific situation, with the cost structure matched to the type of work.

Mi workshops are built on our Mi Core curriculum, the foundational biblical fundraising principles taught at no cost to you. Mi Specialized works in two ways. First, we can go deeper into the Mi Core curriculum itself, walking alongside your team to actually help implement what you’ve learned through a consulting engagement, sometimes embedded as a temporary development officer helping you put donor cultivation, major gifts strategy, or annual fundraising plans into motion. Second, we offer services that extend beyond the Mi Core curriculum entirely, including capital campaign consulting, grant strategy and writing, executive coaching, strategic execution planning, large-scale fundraising events, and marketing services. Workshops give you the principles. Mi Specialized helps you apply them, deepen them, or add expertise the curriculum doesn’t cover.
