Launch an Mi Community in Your Area

Equip ministry leaders in biblically-based fundraising, foster ministry collaboration and learning, and multiply your Kingdom impact tenfold.

Kingdom Impact Through Community

Too many ministry leaders feel isolated in their fundraising journey, operating from scarcity thinking instead of trusting God’s abundant provision. An Mi Community breaks this cycle by bringing together local organizations for collaborative learning, peer support, and shared growth.

Imagine your region’s ministries grounded in biblical fundraising principles, encouraged by fellow leaders, and equipped through expert coaching, all while building lasting relationships that extend far beyond any single workshop. This is the power of community over isolation, abundance over scarcity, and collaboration over competition.

NCF Presidents:
Bring Mi To Your Community

Chris Chancey, President of NCF Jacksonville, fully funded an Mi Hybrid Community to connect siloed ministries with strategic givers.

An Mi Hybrid Community in your city creates the ecosystem Chris describes, connecting your givers with equipped, collaborative ministries while building a thriving community of Kingdom-focused leaders. This is strategic stewardship that produces exponential returns.

Why Fund An Mi Community?

When you fund an Mi Community, you're not settling for the way it's always been done. You're embracing strategic stewardship that creates lasting transformation.

The Mi Community Model is Different:

  • Every dollar strengthens nonprofits for greater impact through biblically-based training that transforms ministries for a lifetime.
  • Break free from unhealthy dependency as nonprofits expand their support base and reduce reliance on a handful of donors.
  • Experience one-to-many generosity as your investment ignites transformation across many ministries and communities simultaneously.

The Traditional Model Falls Short:

  • More dollars don’t equal more impact when nonprofits remain in survival mode
  • One-to-one giving lacks the leverage needed for Kingdom-scale transformation
  • Donors become lifelines and rescuers, creating unhealthy dependency

This is generosity that keeps multiplying, not just handing out fish, but teaching entire communities to fish for themselves.

Built On Biblical Principles

Every Mi Community is grounded in Mission Increase's Ten Principles of Transformational Giving, a biblical framework rooted in God's provision and faithfulness. These principles shift fundraising from transactional appeals and scarcity thinking to ministry invitations and community-building rooted in God's abundance.

God provides everything we need for what He has called us to do.
(Phil. 4:19; 2 Cor. 9:8)

God faithfully provides through the generosity of His people.
(2 Cor. 9:11-12)

Ministry done in community is a picture of God's Kingdom.
(1 Cor. 12:12-14)

Champions are the primary means of advancing the causes of Christ.
(Acts 4:13)

FAQs

Both Hybrid and Flagship communities accommodate unlimited ministry participants. Based on our operational projections, we expect approximately 50 active nonprofits in Year 1, scaling to 100 by Year 2 and 150 by Year 3. There is no cap on participation.

Ministries attend quarterly workshops (3 hours each) and can participate in optional group coaching sessions. The flexible format allows organizations to engage at their own pace while still benefiting from the community.

Mi Communities create ongoing peer relationships, not just event attendance. Ministry leaders learn together, support one another, and break the isolation that often accompanies fundraising challenges. The community aspect is what transforms scattered learning into sustainable growth.

The Hybrid model is a great way to get started and provides a clear path for expansion into a Flagship community as you see the impact of collaborative learning and want even deeper engagement.

Communities can renew their agreement annually. Many continue for multiple years as the collaborative relationships deepen and new ministries join the community.

Mi Communities welcome any nonprofit organization to participate and join. That being said, because of our strong biblical foundation in our teachings, most participants share our Christian faith, though it is not a requirement. A significant portion of ministries who are part of Mi are not faith-based nonprofits, but they are often led by Christians who appreciate the biblical principles underlying our approach.
