Asking With Confidence, Courage and Conviction (Session 2)

Asking for major gifts isn’t always a natural conversation. We understand that even the most seasoned fundraising professional can feel awkward or unsure.   

This Mission Increase workshop will be offered as a unique 2-part series in your community, with the material divided in half between Session 1 and Session 2.  This major gifts workshop will equip you to confidently invite champions to participate in the work God has called you to do together. You will leave with practical tools and habit-forming skills to help you:

• Find the strength and words to ask courageously and with confidence
• Develop disciplines for communicating impact and stewardship
• Keep your major gifts efforts organized and on track
• Discern the right next invitation for every champion

Mission Increase’s Transformational Giving principle six says, "The liberating nature of generosity means inviting champions to give is a sacred task." You can invite and receive gifts in a way that “will result in thanksgiving to God” (2 Corinthians 9:11b). You will discover that fundraising is a joyful calling.

Multiple time slots are offered for both Session 1 and Session 2.  Register today for one time slot for each session, as, ideally, participants will attend both sessions!  Please contact your Area Director personally if you need access to a recorded session or would like coaching on this subject of major gifts. This workshop will benefit anyone who interacts with your champions!
