Transformational Giving: Experience Fundraising as a Joyful Calling
A Partnership with CAFO and Mission Increase

What if there was a way to raise funds that left you encouraged, your givers more joyful, and more lives transformed for Christ?  What if fundraising felt more like ministry?

You can experience fundraising as a joyful calling. There really is a better way!

CAFO is grateful to introduce a new initiative to provide a Mission Increase (MI) Area Director dedicated to helping CAFO members build capacity by deploying a biblical approach to fundraising.

Since 1999, thousands of ministry leaders throughout the U.S. have benefited from MI resourcing...and their ministries are growing, often exponentially. CAFO and Mission (MI) are partnering to help your ministry grow by offering MI’s teaching, coaching, consulting and granting all at no cost to your organization.

During The Summit, you have a special opportunity to meet and work directly with Michael Mitchell, CAFO’s dedicated MI Area Director. Michael will be presenting the introductory workshop for CAFO members only.

Transformational Giving: Experience Fundraising as a Joyful Calling

May 7, 10am-12pm

Your box lunch will be delivered so we can enjoy a meal following the workshop and extend our time for additional coaching.

In this workshop, Michael will present a biblical model of fundraising with the power to grow your ministry and your givers.  You’ll leave with practical tools to:

  • Build a vision-driven case for support.
  • Ask with confidence rather than fear.
  • Design entry points for givers to join your cause.
  • Leverage your communications to mobilize your supporters.

You’ll also learn how to access upcoming nation-wide training from MI and apply this biblical approach to fundraising topics like major gifts, acquisition, direct mail, and fundraising planning.

Our prayer is that your relationships with givers will “overflow in many expressions of thanks to God” (2 Corinthians 9:12b, NIV).

This workshop is for CAFO members serving as executive directors, development directors and staff, board members and anyone who works to share your cause with givers and champions.
